These general terms and conditions apply to all commercial transactions carried out on this website.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in a Course or any other service.

By enrolling, you agree to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions, so please print them out if you need to read them carefully.

0. INTRODUCTION

PsiChess ofrece formación online y presencial especializada en psicología en ajedrez desde una veritente DEPORTIVA, EDUCATIVA, TERAPÉUTICA, SOCIAL Y EMPRESARIAL, organizando cursos y jornadas formativas online y presenciales especializadas en las citadas áreas.

PsiChess offers access to its interactive online courses from anywhere and at any time, from the start date of the course until the end and closing date you set for each course.

PsiChess offers online sessions of applied chess psychology to all those interested in training psychological skills for competition.

1.ENROLMENT AND RESERVATION OF PLACE.

By completing the registration form, the student declares to be aware of the training activity developed by PsiChess as well as being interested in the course or day in which he/she is enrolled or registered, whose content, characteristics, schedule, price, payment method and requirements are sufficiently known by the programme to which he/she has had access.

PsiChess commits a place in the course in favour of the student when he/she fills in the REGISTRATION FORM and pays in the way described in the Specific Conditions.

Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail informing you that you have been enrolled in your chosen course.

In order to obtain a diploma for a course, attendance at a minimum number of sessions and/or passing an evaluation test or exam may be required. PsiChess reserves the right to not allow the student to take the exam in case of non-compliance with the minimum number of sessions indicated, if any, in the course.

2. STUDENT COMMITMENTS.

The student commits himself/herself to take the course to the best of his/her ability and to respect the academic rules of PsiChess.

In the case of online training, the student declares that he/she has sufficient computer skills to be able to follow the methodology of the course and to be able to carry it out with full guarantees of acquiring the necessary knowledge to obtain the corresponding diploma or qualification.

The student may not use the documentation, technical notes, case studies, activities, etc., provided by PsiChess for purposes other than his or her own training, unless authorised in writing.

The student is not authorised to distribute, transmit, copy, display, perform, reproduce, license, use the material as a basis for other works, transfer or sell in any way any information, documents, documentation, images, programming code, logos, trademarks, products or services obtained from PsiChess.

For the correct and complete functioning of the programme, the student declares to possess or have access to computer equipment suitable for the specifications of the programme, either their own or someone else’s, and an Internet connection to be able to follow the on-line programme in which they are enrolling as a complement to their learning if required, as well as to maintain it for the duration of the programme.

Access to PsiChess is by means of a user name and a personal password. This password is personal and non-transferable. In case of loss or theft of the password, the user must inform PsiChess immediately, otherwise you will be responsible for any changes and use of your account up to that point.

In spaces where social interaction takes place, where the learner will be able to express his/her opinions as well as maintain interactive communication with other Users, the following rules of conduct must be respected:

– It is strictly forbidden to harass, abuse, threaten or cause annoyance to any other student or member of PsiChess.

– Under no circumstances may any information, data, texts, files, links, programmes, communications or any other illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, hostile, defamatory, obscene, racist or ethically incorrect material, or material that constitutes sexual harassment or harassment on the grounds of sex be sent through the services that PsiChess makes available to the student.

– Do not disrupt the participation of other users in interactive spaces.

– Do not post or write any advertisements, promotional or advertising materials, on noticeboards or in interactive communications.

– Not to infringe applicable local, regional, national, EU or international law while the training is being carried out.

– Names or e-mail addresses obtained through PsiChess may not be used to disseminate promotional or advertising information without the express permission of the user.

3. PSICHESS COMMITMENTS.

PsiChess undertakes to reserve the student’s place when the registration form is completed and payment is made in the manner described in ‘Forms of payment’.

PsiChess undertakes to provide the teaching content, teaching staff and online support necessary for the full development of the course in which you have enrolled.

PsiChess undertakes to issue and deliver to the student, once the course has been successfully completed and all the course fees have been paid, a Diploma or document accrediting the studies completed.

4. GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION.

Students may be expelled by the Course Director if they show a serious or repeated lack of discipline, fail to meet the minimum attendance requirements for the course or do not pass the assessment tests that have been determined in each case.

Any falsification, in whole or in part, of the data provided in the selection and admission process of the student will also be a cause for expulsion.

Expulsion implies the loss of your rights to the course, to obtain the title or diploma accrediting the completion of the respective course, as well as the non-refund of the enrolment fee. The same condition shall apply in the event of resignation once the course has begun.

5. FORMS OF PAYMENT AND CONDITIONS.

The course registration fee can be paid in a single payment.

The available means of payment are:

– Debit or credit card via the REDSYS secure payment platform.

– Bank transfer to our current account at BANKIA. The details to do it are:

For correct enrolment, proof of having made the transfer must be enclosed.

6. WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND OF PAYMENTS.

In the event that the course does not take place, PsiChess will refund the registration fee paid by the student.

The enrolment fee will also be refunded if the student withdraws from the course within 24 hours of enrolment.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the student must notify his or her decision to withdraw from the course by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) info@psichess.com.

The refund of the registration fee will be made by bank transfer to the current account indicated by the student.

In order to comply with the withdrawal period, you must take into account the above.

7. SECURITY.

PsiChess protects the data it collects from students by means of passwords. While PsiChess has made reasonable attempts to establish a secure environment for recruitment, we cannot guarantee the complete security of the information since, as a student you are aware and expressly agree, the usual security measures are not unbreakable.

We therefore recommend that you take the necessary measures to protect your personal data when you are surfing the Internet. We also recommend that you change your passwords regularly, using combinations of letters and numbers.

8. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY.

PsiChess is exempt from any responsibility in the event that the student cannot access the PsiChess website for reasons beyond its control.

PsiChess is not responsible for the opinions, contents and other materials that the students may express within the interactive services that PsiChess makes available to the students; without prejudice to the application of the measures provided in paragraph 4 of these Conditions.

9. CONFLICT RESOLUTION.

Both parties agree to submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Castellón for any matter arising from the interpretation or execution of the contract, renouncing any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
